When it comes to booking a trip to Europe, getting there is often the first financial hurdle.

Then comes money for accommodation, an entire savings account for Aperol Spritz and of course, extra cash to actually explore your destination.

But as the peak season in Europe comes to a close, a string of “early bird” specials are starting to pop up — making another holiday all the more appealing.

In this week’s Travel Deal Tuesday, we have found some of the best ways to get to Europe — and other overseas destinations — without breaking the bank.

FLY TO EUROPE FROM $309

Sure it might be on a budget airline. But when a seat on budget airline Scoot will cost you less than $310 to fly to Greece or Germany, the cramped legs might be well worth it.

The low-cost airline, with its hub in Singapore, is offering some of the cheapest flights to Europe ever seen in Australia. And yes, you will be able to book the fares during their summer period.

The budget airline is known for its wildly cheap flights, but its newest offering is pretty hard to pass up.

During the flash sale, passengers from Perth can head to Athens or Berlin from as little as $618 return (including taxes), when travelling between January 10 and June 15, 2020.

If you’re flying from Sydney or Melbourne, you’ll be paying around $339 one way. It’s slightly cheaper to go from the Gold Coast at $329 one way.

But you will need to get in quick. The sale will kick off from 6am (Perth time) on Wednesday, September 11 until just before midnight on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.

To book, visit flyscoot.com or download the app and Scoot off to Europe.
